What started as a passion for old skool R&B and Hip Hop music, coupled with a dream to share that with the masses, ended in a dramatic move to New York City to attend the world-renowned Scratch DJ Academy, founded in 2002 by Jam Master Jay of Run-DMC.
There, Deejay SDot learned the fundamentals of scratching from the Pioneer, Grand Wizard Theodore and was trained by leaders in the industry such as DJ Esquire, DJ Rob Swift and DJ Noumenon.
SDot made her debut into the Charlotte DJing scene and was immediately snapped up as resident DJ at Kanvas Charlotte.
Deejay SDot promises, “My signature eargasms will leave attendees with a glimpse into the heart and soul of a true turntablist.”
As a faithful supporter and attendee of previous Fashion Meets Music shows in Los Angeles, we are excited to have the NEW GIRL in town spinning at the New York Fashion Week event on 12th February 2013.
