A$AP Rocky is back with a brand new single, named “D.M.B”, and an accompanying music video starring Rihanna, which dropped last night (May 5).
The visual was written, directed, and executive produced by Rocky for AWGE and was filmed in New York – the rapper’s hometown. It is shot in the style of a motion picture camera roll and features photos from last summer of the couple hanging out of an apartment’s fire escape, which fans of the pair will be pleased to see make the cut.
The cinematic clip sees the couple “depicting true ride-or-die characters in a devoted relationship despite their circumstances. Rocky even “proposes” to Rihanna through his grills, which spell out “Marry Me”, and she responds by smiling back revealing her own grills that say “I Do.”

The track itself is produced by Rocky, Skepta, Shlohmo, Hector Delgado, and Kelvin Krash, with additional production by D33J and background vocals from fellow mob member, A$AP Ferg.
It’s been 4 years since Rocky’s last full-length release, “Testing”, and he’s only made a number of guest appearances since. Most recently, he appeared on 2 songs on Nigo’s album (“Arya” and “Lost and Found Freestyle 2019”) and assisted A$AP Ant with a feature (“Tha God Hour”). Last weekend during his set at Smoker’s Club Festival, Rocky previewed a new song featuring Playboi Carti.
Fans have had to wait patiently for a full-length project from Rocky. “D.M.B.” hopefully sets the rollout in motion for his tentatively titled album All Smiles, which is due out at some point later this year.
