New single ‘Eazy’ from The Game featuring Ye, dropped on Friday 14th after a series of studio teasers
After the pair posted clips in the studio together earlier this week, fans speculated that something would be dropping from Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) and The Game. However, no one expected it would be this soon, as the new single, ‘Eazy’ was released just days after, on Friday 14th of January.
As expected, the new release has caused some drama, with it taking a hit at Kanye’s soon-to-be ex-wife’s new partner. The rapper says:
“God saved me from that crash/Just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s ass…”
This references both a car crash in 2002 that nearly killed the rapper and of course, Pete Davidson, Kim Kardashian’s new lover.
‘Eazy’ was produced by Hit-Boy who joined The Game on Instagram live shortly after the release to promote the track as they rapped along.
It has been recently confirmed that ‘Donda 2’ is underway, so fans are expecting this to be an early-teaser track and one that will make it to Kanye’s next album.
The song was released exclusively on Spotify for 24 hours, before becoming available across different platforms. Listen here:
